Way to go Bombers!

It's been an exciting year of basketball for my niece Sammy! After losing 5 seniors and winning the state title last year...they've made it to the WELL again! Ballard won thier conference and beat Boone, Nevada and Pella to make it State. They play Tuesday night at 5pm against Davenport Assumption. Should be a good game! But I have to say "GO BOMBERS!"

Where have I been?!

Well, since I have not been on here for quite some time, thought maybe I should make some updates!

I can sum up the last couple of months in pretty much one word...Basketball! Between Mason, Sam, Ally and Iowa State games...it keeps me busy! Mason is in 8th grade and is undefeated, Sam is a junior and has a record of 15 wins and 1 loss. Their only loss was to the #1 4A team Cedar Rapids Linn-Mar and they lost by six points. Ally is a freshman at Creighton and doing very well. She got to start yesterday and it was fun to be there and watch her. They played UNI and it was one of the most come from behind games I have ever seen! Creighton was down 17-33 at half and with 31 seconds to go in the game took the lead and won by 4 points..ending score 62-58! Go BLUEJAYS!

Then when I'm not attending one of these games I go to the ISU Women's games! So needless to say you will more than likely find me seating on some bleachers until mid-late March!
